[FIXED] Can't download Season 6 update via EA app - "download has failed"

The download won't start in the EA APP. It always says the download has failed and that I should try it again later in a few minutes.

Already cleared the cache of the EA APP.

Anyone else has this problem ? And perhaps a solution ?

    Same boat.

    Can't download the update through the EA launcher/app.

    Tried repairing the app, tried downloading a new installer and running it and repairing - neither worked.

    I get Download error nearly immediately when I start to download BF2042 update that was released today. 

    How to fix it?

    Im using EA App on PC.

    It seems to be the EA Servers as a whole as downloading the game won't work either.

    I just unistalled and tried reinstalling and even that download won't start, so something is up with the servers.

    Same issue for me. I hope it's just the servers. 
    And I HOPE! that after the update the game will launch for me, because I couldn't play the game which I bought for months... 😬

    Cleared cache like you recommended, but it still fails to download season 6. Keep receiving download error. We wait for weeks for this thing,, and it crashes just trying to download.  WOW!

    Same for me, tried downloading update as well as re-installing the game and get hit with "Your download has failed, please try again in a few minutes" every time. PC restart, loading EA App as Admin and clearing EA App cache hasn't helped :/
