The issue has been resolved.
Thank you for your patience as the team navigated through this.
So since this is a pretty new occurence, im pretty sure its because of the new amd preview driver with afmf (amd fluid motion frames) turned on.
Sometimes a pc restart fixes this, sometimes it doesn't.
What always fixes this (for me) is:
- disable afmf for bf2042 before launch
- (optional: restart pc)
- launch bf2042
- enable afmf in amd software (ALT+R to enter amd software while ingame)
- (dont forget to put bf2042 in fullscreen for afmf to function)

i don't know what is causing it but i can say with 100% certainty it's not an amd issue as i'm having the issue on an rtx 3060
