Full Screen Display Option Has No Monitors or Apply Button

Out of no where 2042 started launch in windowed mode and when I would go to display options to switch it back to full screen, there wasn't an option to apply. Moving the option to Full screen didn't even show my monitors. I reinstalled the game, verified steam files, reinstalled GPU drivers, disabled my CPU output. Nothing has worked.

  • So I spent more time and finally found the solution. I do a lot of deep learning with my PC so I have a 4080 (has all display outputs connected) an A4000 and a Quadro RTX 4000. Alt + Enter did not fix the problem.

What worked in the end is going into device manager and disabling everything other than the 4080 (even my 13900K output). It's odd because I never had to do this in the past and I thought maybe a Windows 10 update caused the problem so I updated to Windows 11 to test. That didn't fix the issue either.

    Hey @Mazurski20,

    That's indeed odd.

May I know what kind of GPU you have?

Also, have you tried to press the Alt + Enter keyboard buttons already when you have an active BF2042 screen?
