I refunded the game so I am no longer having this issue. Good luck to everyone.

@VR-Rhyno I have this issue too and worse: I can't clear the binding!
I hold ESC but it just quits the input. It tells me to press the SELECT button that exists on CONTROLLERS and I am on PC. So I can't bind mouse buttons at all!

Yup. Precisely the same issue. Can't hold ESC to clear the bind either.
