unless airflow / cooling is crap in youre system !
Cheers
I5-9600k the following user.cfg lines fixed my recurent freezes/times nudge :
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 3
Thread.ProcessorCount 3
The cpu is still running at 100%.
The game is smooth but i have some fps drops when there is a lot of action around me in game which leads to freeze, which is normal regarding the 100% CPU issue.

Guys, i've just completely fixed my issue, the game is so smooth !
My setup is the following:
-i5 9600K
-ASUS TUF Z390-Pro
-16go DDR4 3000mhz C16
-3080Ti FE
-34" Xiaomi monitor (G-Sync Compatible)
First, i've added the user.cfg with the following ( YOU MUST ADJUST THE COUNT REGARDING YOU CPU CORE/THREAD ) :
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 3
Thread.ProcessorCount 3
Then i've done the following (Set up Windows settings and game graphic settings) :
https://exputer.com/guides/settings/battlefield-2042/If you don't see 'Image Sharpening" option just google "how to...", by default it was not present on my side.
Then i've done the following which i think is VERY important and most freeze/time nudge are coming from this "issue", so do this ( fix vrate ) :
https://www.displayninja.com/what-is-freesync-brightness-flickering/Finally the game is more beautiful, smooth, my CPU is not 100% but 95-98% (checked with MSI Afterburner OSD thing).
I hope it will help some of you.- 3 years ago
For those who have the input lag problem: check if you have Microsoft PowerToys installed, if so, close it and try playing now 🙂
