This problem has been around for over 4-5 months.
It's obvious that EA doesn't care at all that it doesn't work, I guess no work is being done in this direction.
I have driver 25.6.1 and I also crash on the death scene.
I'm not going to roll it back 2-3 updates because of the unprofessional development/support team of BF2042

I completely agree. It seems they're focused on the new Battlefield, completely forgetting the small community that still plays 2042. If EA keeps treating its consumers this way, the new Battlefield doesn't look promising.
