Game crashes, Direct X Error
So I bought the game yesterday from Steam and now for 2 days I have tried pretty much everything I could find to fix this problem. Every time I try to launch the game it will just crashes directly at...
This DirectX12 out of memory issue has been going on for quite a while. EA chooses to ignore it because it actually ties directly to the EA anti-cheat. Many times the load up will crash the computer and during the BSOD it refers to the EA anti-cheat control causing the crash.
WHY ARE THESE BACK AGAIN????? I mean, i get these again and without error, random shutdowns. I tried to downclock gpu. At some point in summer there was no errors in that frequent.. Keep breaking the game update after update.
@Skaard4Life Hey man,
i see ya got a 13th gen cpu, those cpu's are running "better" with windows 11.
I also see your bios could been updated , to control the voltage/wattage and amps, and more system performance.
Some 13th and 14th gen cpu's got some system/config stability issues.
Make sure ya got everything uptodate , windows, drivers,bios and any firmware ya could update !
Cheers
PS some people got it fixed with change the machine-id.
Or change pagefile for example.
Also its possible youre memory is an issue (bios settings) , is it in the QVL ?
No OC and all voltage/wattage at factory set. I am not the only PC player to have these issues and have done every uninstall/reinstall that has been told to me to try. Reset DirectX, uninstalled/reinstalled DirectX. Stressed tested cpu and gpu multiple times to insure stability. Everything still points back to only coming from EA games that use the Frostbite anti-cheat. There are games out there that are much more graphic card stressing the BF 2042 and BFV yet the only time this issue of DirectX out of memory issue comes up is when you try and play EA games. When the issue freezes the game then causes the computer to crash the error will state during the BSOD that the failure was with the EA Anti-cheat controller. So the issue is between EA Anti-cheat and DirectX not being compatible. So if I run COD (the latest edition) which is much more of a graphic challenge I get no error, but if I run BFV or BF2042 I get the DirectX crash you can see that it is a problem that is caused by incompatible software. As for drivers being up to date I have Fortect which scans and updates drivers. Boils down to if I have tried everything that you can find on the internet whether Redditt or YouTube etc I won't post anything on the forum unless all other options have been run through. EA has made it impossible to reach tech support so the forums are the last resort, always hoping that one player has figured out how to fix an EA problem that EA won't address.
