Game crashes, Direct X Error
So I bought the game yesterday from Steam and now for 2 days I have tried pretty much everything I could find to fix this problem. Every time I try to launch the game it will just crashes directly at...
So help me understand that the only time this issue pops up is when an EA game is started, the BSOD states "EA anti-cheat control issue" all of the Sfc /Scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, Fortect scan and fix show no issues and this is somehow a bios problem? Stress testing of cpu and gpu don't cause any issues and show impressive benchmarks and it is only a bios issue that causes EA programs to not work properly? Will flash the bios as suggested but still need to know why it only effects EA products.
Haven't tried the game yet but flashed the bios so check the attachment and see if you can see anything different in the data. Updated the Intel chips and will see if that solved the issue. Had a few glitches on start up of windows after the bios update but seems to have settled out now. Will come back after trying BF load up and see where we are at.
Sigh, loaded game and then map without issue then while playing (yea got in that far) game crashed computer and BSOD cause listed bitlocker to ea anti-cheat control. Never ever heard of that. So once restarted went in and looked for bitlocker (never knew I had this on the computer) and it was turned on. I turned it off went into EA anti-cheat and there it was sitting in the anti-cheat so I removed it. Restarted the game and had no problem playing for an hour. Shutdown everything, restarted the app and all worked again. Went to load game this morning and it would not connect on the internet, said I wasn't connected and gave an error number (attached). Not sure what is going on with the internet this morning attached 2 of the funniest speed check results. Do know that once I turned off the bitlocker encryption program and removed the bitlocker files from the anti-cheat the game at least played and the DirectX issue has not popped back up. So sitting here waiting for customer service to answer from internet provider (on hold with the phone). My Intel chip must have been in a batch of good ones as can't find any issues with it. Had it for over a year now and has been stable. Yes I saw many articles on others having issues with 13th and 14th gen but nothing has ever cropped up as I kept up with chipset updates
