What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes to the main Xbox dashboard.
What should be happening instead? The game should be actually functioning properly and be stable.
Added Notes: This is the only game exhibiting these issues on my Series X, all other games are stable and perform as expected. Ventilation space is open ended and console is completely clean and free of dust. Console is hardwired vis Ethernet cable, and is plugged directly into wall power outlet and is not connected via surge protector. Issue occurs when game is installed via internal hard drive and storage expansion card. No external peripherals are connected. The game itself is fully up to date. Reinstalling game does not resolve issue, nor does restarting the Xbox or performing a hard reset or clearing of cache. Leaving console unplugged for 5+ minutes does not resolve the issue. Console is fully updated to the latest dashboard update version available from Microsoft. This same exact behavior was occurring during the beta period for 2042 as well.
@EA_Atic This issue appears to perhaps be some sort of memory leak and needs to be addressed by EA/DICE. I did not pay $120 just to have the game crash me back to the dashboard every single match. Until the issue is resolved I will be refunding my purchase of the $120 Ultimate Edition.
