@EA_Atic I have had the same issue as everyone else and ran some tests. Unplugged all peripherals, reverted to original Xbox Series X controller, factory reset my Xbox Series X, cleared all data, ran necessary Xbox updates, then installed tge Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition to internal storage. My Xbox has a good 12 inches of space around it in all directions, and nothing above it, so I am 100% sure that it isn't overheating.
After all that, I managed to load in and play for around 5 minutes then it shut my console down again, so nothing seemed to work. Ive only ever experienced this before with FIFA22. I coukdn't paly a single match on that so gave up in the end, and haven't played it again.
Im not going to lay blame, because I know first-hand how much goes into these games, and with all the variables involved in a game of this scope, it was never going to be bug free immediately, but one that prevents us playing is too much. Can we at least get some acknowledgement on the official list of bugs or something, because it feels as some have said, like this issue is being swept under the rug a bit, or being kept quiet by EA. I think transparency would go a long way. Even if EA or DICE knew about this issue, and were struggling to solve it before release, at least if we knew then people wouldn't be so annoyed right now. Honesty would go a long way. Im sure people could understand.
That being said, I beg you, please get chasing the team on this and figure out a fix or patch as soon as possible. I know a lot of people here are already demanding refunds. Personally, I don't blame them for doing so, but I'm not one of them. I just want to play the game. Thanks for your help in advance.
