Very often when opening the map while sprinting the game first freezes then crashes. This is not only happening to me, but also to friends. Solution: just not opening the map. Otherwise the game does not crash for me. This is on PC.
@EA_Atic sorry for the late reply. I tried to open the map a few times again, but the crash did not appear anymore. I will write here again should it occur once more.
DICE TeamHey, @JackTemaki can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Since update 3, i have the same issue.. i crashed twice today, never crashed in 70h since launch before that... so I guess it's not my install, it's definitely a problem with your code lol.

My game just crashed 3 times in a row. Each time exactly at the moment when I opened the map overview (although I could open it before without issues).
NVIDIA Drivers are up to date. I'll turn off Geforce Overlay to see if that fixes it.
DICE Teamits opening the map, it happens to me too and its so frustrating. i used to use it to spot tanks or snipers but now i just look around instead. its definitely the map its happened to me several times.

It is bf2042.exe ho send this commands? Amd gpu can not handle this information?
i got this all chrash with directx.
BattlefieldGame.Main_win64_retail_prot.pdb contains the debug information required to find the source for the module BF2042.exe
Direcx11 uses all cores on cpu, but only 1 core in gpu. Direcx12 uses all the cpu and gpu cores. It seems that dice can not write good enough code , to handle directx12?
Because it always worked better with directx11 in bfv and bf4?
Same prob here crashed 5 times today due to this and me keep forgetting that map cant be used......
