We are seeing positive signs that the reported scenarios of freezing for PC players have now been resolved.
As such, this issue is now classed as being closed.
If you keep seeing Freezing issues please post below.

@EA_Atic i got 2 crashdumps out of like 20 crashes. But this forum doesnt allow me to attach it here. The Filenames are CrashDump_2022.10.20_03.13.31.847.mdmp and CrashDump_2022.10.20_03.13.41.604.mdmp

Same issues with freezing when loading game, freezing when loading map, weapon loadout loading, in-game crashes, in-game invisible players, vehicles and own weapons/hands.
second round with deleted bf2042 folder, still running without problems :-)
@t0bse1337hahah no wont work, i already contacted live support for my issue.
I need to wait 24 hours before i start game again (else other 24 hour again).
I did to much windows installs last weeks to test/reproduce issues.
Now my bf2042 is installed at to much other computers (isnt)!
sending some crashdumps.
they only appear if the game freezes while loading and you don't immediately kill it with alt+f4, but you let it sit there for couple minutes and eventually it kills itself and 2 crashdump files appear. it never happens on black screen, only on freeze but still not always.
every crashdump says the same and i've seen a lot of posts on forum with that same error so i guess same thing happens to everyone:

Don't! Unless you want to go through the pain of reconfiguring everything. Others have done that and they still have those crashes.
