Any updates here?
Things I've tried:
- uninstalling the nVidia driver (via DDU) and doing a clean install. Doesn't make a difference.
- Adding a separate PCIE ethernet NIC in case it was due to the in-built intel ethernet NIC. Doesn't make a difference.
- Turning off DLSS, turning off Ray Tracing, turning off nVidia reflex. Doesn't make a difference.
Windows 11 is in game mode.
No matter what, within the first 5 minutes of a match, there will be 5-10 seconds of freezing before the game reverts to playing just fine. It's driving me crazy.
The only other thing I can think of (and will test for this weekend) is the PBO / CO settings on my ryzen 7900 (65W). I am running it at 95W TDP settings with individually tested curve optimizer settings. the result is mostly just longer boosting at 5.5GHz (w/ a +50MHz boost override) At least in Destiny 2 and Forza Horizon 5, those games are running just fine.
On my Legion 7i laptop (Core i7 12800HX, 32GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM, nVidia RTX 3070ti), no freezing issues.
