Game freezing up for a few seconds random, causes huge gameplay issues

Having the exact same problem. Game worked perfectly fine with no issues for months prior, but now today out of nowhere it freezes during game play for about 10 seconds every couple of minutes. 

i have the same issue, idk what to do? worked fine, got on today and every minute on the minute i get a 3 to 6 second freeze. tried lowering settings in multiple ways and no resolve. i7 11700, 3080, 32gb ram, SSD.  everythings up to date, other demanding games work fine, lots of storage room. cpu and gpu not even under heavy load. must be a BF issue, i cant think of anything on my end causing it.

I'm also having this problem. It freezes the entire video feed on PC, not just the game. Audio continues to play.

Task Manager shows CPU and Network spike after the freeze stops, GPU usage goes to to 0%.

Was fine when I played about 16hrs ago and have put a lot of hours in the game over the last 2 weeks. Other games work fine including Battlefield games. Issue happens in both the 2042 menu and in-match.

Other people seem to be reporting it in the in-game all chat, on the reddit 2042 forum and the battlefield discord server as well. Seems to be a widespread problem.

For seconds, the whole GPU will hang every few minutes.

Exact same problem, i'm glad to see it's on EA side and not mine, will get a refund if not fixed by them soon

Same for me, i was able to play  without any trouble, but today i have huge freezes for 5-10 second every 1 or 2 min, the whole screen freeze and my pc too, then the game come back 
i can feel a little input lag on my mouse just before the freeze appear.
Please fix this, its so frustrating

I try everything like reinstalling, updating gpu drivers etc...  and nothing work

Same issue.  just started yesterday evening (GMT+2), freeze for one or two seconds during game play or in the menu. Was fine before (except black screen obviously that also plague the game)
Now battlefield 2042 is unplayable.

Anyone looking into this yet?
