Game is poorly optimized - Where is the day 1 patch?

Hi,

before anyone cries about the topic name I want to report my situation.

My looks like the following:

i7-8700K OC @5GHz

32 GB DDR3 3000Mhz

Nvidia 3080

I first thought may my CPU have some throttling problems or may come to an age where it can't handle, so I fully monitored a game session and I found out not a single piece of my pc was fully used by Battlefield 2042. DLSS seems to have rather no effect, no matter on what setting also graphics. I stuck at 50-80 frames which seems like a bad joke when the hardware isn't even fully used. The overall hardware usage seems about 50-60%.

Here are some screenshots.

Ingame/GPU:

As you see I'm running on "high" settings and my GPU runs only about a bit more than half of the load/power

Ingame.

CPU Stuff:

Intel Extreme Utility

Core frequency

So it would be cool if DICE can address the issue that the game isn't able to use high-end hardware at all as it seems.

  • With a 3090 & i9-10900K, DLSS isn't giving me any boost at any DLSS settings, while I can see the quality going down, so DLSS is working while not increasing the FPS.

2560x1440p with G-Sync, full screen, Ultra settings, V-sync off in-game, and on in nVIDIA CP.

With RT AO I'm at ~90 FPS, with or without DLSS. GPU usage at 74 %.

Without RT AO I'm at ~130 FPS, with or without DLSS. GPU usage at 96%.

If I put DLSS on ultra-performance, it even gives me less FPS, like -3 FPS.
