I was playing tank superiority today and then the game went black. It would bring up the Home Screen and would flicker. Now I can’t even get the game to load. I have a new Xbox and this is the first issue I have encountered. It’s odd I can’t get 2042 to work but every other game loads fine.
Sound like the save file for Battlefield 2042 might be corrupt. You can try deleting the game's save file but that will reset all your game settings to default, such as controller buttons.
You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Battlefield 2042. This won't delete the save file, but will require redownloading the game.
