Game only runs in fullscreen on integrated graphics

I'm having this issue on a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 if that helps at all. I recently bought the game on steam, and after launching the game, it started in windowed mode, but the settings said the game...

    @apolloegghead disableintergrated GPU by BIOS !

Did you find a solution to this problem? I cannot manage to make the game launch with the dedicated GPU, only with integrated graphics. 

I tried accessing the BIOs but could only select UMA or switchable graphics, no option of just using dedicated graphics. thanks!
