I recently switched to PC from Xbox. My friend that I play with tries to join me in game and says he can't and gets an error that says something like "Game session ended".
But I can join his party fine. Being new to PC, is there a setting that would be blocking him? Privacy setting somewhere?
Any help or guidance for a PC newbie is appreciated.
You can try adding a Windows firewall exception for Battlefield 2042.

Could he join your party when you played on Xbox?
Another forum member said they were able to fix it by both him and his friend unfriending and refriending each other.
It seemed like all the game invites were being sent to his Xbox instead of his PC.
Thanks for the reply. We both played since the beginning on Xbox. We would join either Xbox party or in game party. When I recently switched to PC I had to add him on EA in order to join party in game. I've turned the Firewall off as well. I will try unfriending him on Xbox just to see if that helps.
