4 years agoHi there, you're on PC so I suspect you have some files which are stuck in read-only mode. Usually the easiest way around this is to wipe the files and let the game recreate them.
To start, close the game. Then navigate to C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings.
You may want to make a backup of all the files here to your desktop or another location, just to be sure.
Next, delete each file at this location. Now restart the game and it should recreated these files fresh, and hopefully now when you make changes they stick and you won't need to keep doing the tutorial..
