Game stuck on preparing when trying to download. I've tried everything, I've scoured the internet for tips and tricks to resolve the issue and nothing has works. I've had several tech support requests submitted, it's been weeks at this point. What the hell do I need to do to contact someone and get some help?
hey man, i have the same problem. yours was back in may, did it get solved? how did u solve it if yes?
I had the preparing download issue in March 2024. Clearing the cache and restarting the computer and the game didn't fix the issue.
However, as it has been the root cause of other EA issues, the next thing I checked was Microsoft One Drive and sure enough it had somehow re-enabled itself, probably via Windows Update. I've had enough drama with One Drive and back up externally so I removed it.
Everything works perfectly now.
so you uninstalled one drive completely?
Just Buy EA play then it will work 100% just did it 30 sec ago!!!!!!!!!
thank goodness i had to give EA more money to play a game i bought 8 years ago, thanks EA love you guys.
