@xpaydayx, thanks. I really don't want to whine, and sorry if I come over like I want to, but I am unable to clearly see the numbers that I would like to take a look at, due to the compression quality of the video on Imgur. Would you maybe be able to upload these videos with the Network Graph to YT and post a link here?
@blitz719krieg, hmm, alright, so nothing has made a difference? That's unfortunate. Would you maybe also be able to capture a video or some videos of some gameplay with the Network Graph enabled, where you experience these issues? It's normal that you experience no issues during the intro mission since this is locally stored on your PC.

@xpaydayx, thank you. Hmm, there doesn't seem to be anything really noticeable in the graph that could explain the stuttering that you're experiencing. However, the BW In and BW Out (BW = Bandwith) is quite low. May I ask how you're connected to the game? Is this via a normal ethernet connection to your modem/router > to your ISP, or via some sort of satellite connection for example?
I would also appreciate it if you (also @blitz719krieg) could also maybe record a video of the suttering with the Network Graph enabled, and with the in-game FPS enabled.
You can do this on PC by pressing on the tilde key (~) and typing the command “perfoverlay.drawfps 1” without the quotation marks please and confirm the command with the return key.
(To disable it, you repeat the process but replace the "1" with a "0".)
Thanks in advance. - 4 years ago@EA_Leeuw I'm using a wired connection with Google Fiber and am not lagging in any other games I play. The issue only exists while playing 128 players specifically. I can play 64 and the game runs perfectly fine. I would just like to see the game's performance addressed at this point, hopefully they're working on it...
- 4 years ago@EA_Leeuw So i did a clean install of 2042 the other day and cleared origin's cache, was grasping at anything to help me obviously. There was no change. Today I booted up the game and saw origin popup at the bottom right, the overlay had defaulted to on obviously (I had it off originally) due to it being reset. Turned off the overlay in origin and in 2042's settings, nearly all the stuttering is gone. I think at this point what remains is due to CPU limitations which I'm okay with ATM as long as it's playable. So perhaps anyone having issues might try a fresh install and to clear origin's cache and then make sure to turn the overlay off. It's important to turn the overlay off not just in the application settings but also in the game's settings itself within the library in origin. So one would navigate to library>2042>the cog>game properties and then at the bottom unselect "enable origin in game overlay".

I can't believe they still have not fixed this.

Yeah it´s unbelievable. Today i literally couldn´t get hits with a sniperrifle while stationary. The crosshairs were in perfect position but the hits just didn´t register.
The desync issue is off the charts at the moment. It is unbelievable to me how they actually manage to make the game worse with updates.. There has to be zero testing done at DICE.

Hey everyone,
In Update 1.1 (which went out on Wednesday, July 6th 2022) we made changes to Shader Caching which should result in a performance improvement.
Since this topic was originally about performance issues since the release of patch 0.4.1, we've made the decision to close this thread and merge the rest of the replies (that were specifically about update 1.0.0 and after) with this thread.
