Game will not boot on PC

Initialize game start and it seems to freeze and also locks up the entire PC. Specs on this PC are 100X more adequate for this game so that is not an issue. Have had 1000s of matches on this PC. This...

    It may be worthwhile checking for recent updates/drivers and if uninstalling/reverting those changes has an effect.

    A couple more standard troubleshooting steps: 

    1. Run System File Checker to help ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
    2. Perform a clean boot before starting: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
