Hello
My game will not launch.
The game has never worked since launch
I have waited for updates but it still does not work - can I please get some help?
I tried contacting ea through a ticket but they did not help me resolve the issue.
Any help here would be appreciated.
There was an update to EA app today when I logged in
and NOW FINALLY AFTER A YEAR - the game works!!! yay!
I was able to log in!
it fixed itself!

The game launches - but then crashes without any error

- My OS is a brand new installation
- I completed a System file checker - no issues
- Windows is up to date
All other games work fine, World of Tanks, War Thunder, Battlefield 4, Battlefield 3, Star Wars II
the only game that does not work is BF2042

it did not work
i have tried to contact them through their form
i will wait to see if they reply
im going to bed - i will check this in 12 hours time
