Game won't start - PC

I uninstalled steam (it seemed to uninstall all my games), reinstalled it, reinstalled battlefield, ran steam as admin, and it still doesn't work.

It just acts like it's going to boot up the game, I can see it open up the EA app, then does nothing and closes. I don't even see the loading screen anymore like I used to.

Uninstalled and resintalled again, but this time everything at once.

uninstalled steam, ea app, and battlefield. Search my computer for any steam / battlefield files etc. and deleted them. Reinstalled steam, installed battlefield and it still didn't work.

Tried using disk cleaner, that didn't work either... updated drivers a second time...

Kinda cringe that I can't play a game I paid for :/ idk what else to try.

any other ideas? I play this game with my wife pretty regularly, sucks that we can't play together anymore. Would really like a fix.

@heckinbamboozle I actually got it working now by unchecking run as administrator on everything. Might be worth a try at least.

@Rokebo73 It does not. It did originally, but at some point trying to fix it the EAC window stopped popping up. It just opens the EA app and then nothing happens.

@Rokebo73 The only other game platform running was battle.net. I closed it and tried opening battlefield again and nothing changed.
