Goes into windowed mode after anticheat loads - then crashes.

Hello.. Seeking help so I can play this game..

After it launches anticheat, it goes into windowed mode.. is black for a few seconds, then it closes down to EA launcher/Origin.

I have tried so many "fixes" I've seen here on the forums, none of them helped.

The game was playable until an update a few months ago ruined everything. Quite fed up with this game and its issues.

I've only gotten down 8 hours and 34 minutes playing this.. and I bet half of that time I was in the menus figuring * out.

  • Hey, @Robinn0r  can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 2042 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

    /Atic

  • @Robinn0r PS start your game platform as admin, make sure Origin / Steam dont boot with windows at the same time !
  • Hello..

@EA_Atic I've tried running a clean boot, I tried disabling Discord, Nvidia overlay, origin overlay, disabling firewall.. you name it. I've pretty much tried it all.

Hope you find something in the Dxdiag..
