I've had this issue on/off with 2042 since launch. Sometimes once the main menu loads (where it shows your character in 3D) the game will freeze. Sometimes I'll get an error like below, sometimes not...

I have this same issue. It's random but triggers when opening the game and landing on the main menu. This problem just started occuring. I have the same pc specs pretty much; Ryzen 9800X3D, ASUS TUFF RTX 5080 OC Edition, 64 GB Ram at 6000mhz, and a 4TB m.2 SSD. Possibly a problem with the newest Nvidia driver (version 581.08) as it was just installed today. I don't seem to have trouble once I get past the menu and into a game.
