Have to always launch the game twice to connect to online services

It seems I have to launch BF2042 twice in order to connect to the online services through the EA Desktop app. First time I launch it, I am in space watching a looping video of satellites. So I close the game and I launch it again. Now BF2042 splash screen appears and I'm now connected to the online services. How can I fix it?

I used to have the same problem, but I changed my HDD for a M2 and since then, I have not experienced it. I do not know if that is the solution, I'm just telling what happened to me.
