I've been having this issue as well. Sometimes you can mitigate it by turning off ransomware protection under windows antivirus settings, or by allowing BF2042 and it's component files to make folder changes. There are plenty of Youtube videos on it. Unfortunately, it works for some folks, but our problem -causes- it. So I'm not sure what else to do but wait for an answer.
If you are experiencing a loop when getting into a match please let us know the following:
- Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID
- Platform you play on
- Date it started occurring
- What modes it's happening for
We'll get this forwarded up to the team. Thank you.

Happening to me too.
On Xbox Series X, with gamertag somepolak.
This problem started a week before the game was released, when I downloaded the 10 hour trail from EA Play. When I purchased the game, it was still occuring.
It happens for all modes. In 2 weeks, I have only been able to play 2 games.

- 4 years ago@EA_Blueberry Me, and several other players with the same problem, due to the route, i signed a VPN and my game came in normal, but i don't keep paying VPN to play a game that i spent a fortune to play.

I also use some type of IP masking VPN service, my game would run normal but I can't just play matches with high ping (60-100ms).

I was able to re produce the bug by first entering any game with crossplay on then after the game finishes i turn off the crossplay the i press play until i enter a lobby then i exit the lobby after it i turn crossplay on then i will enter a game

Hey @EA_Blueberry I take my Xbox series s to and from school. As I came home for Thanksgiving break, it worked perfectly and without this bug like it usually bugs at school. Hope this info helps. GT: Support Lemur/ Xbox series S/Early Access-present/ all modes
