Hazard Zone freezes on map load

looks like the comment above was correct, taking off cross play, restarting, turning it back on and trying again seems to help.

Same Issue here, most of march and into april 2025


Reinstalled, deleted cache, and verified files, no help. stuck on Discarded Hazard Zone loading screen. 

Well, I found a solution.

I am on PC. I disabled cross platform, entered HZ and that lead me into an empty lobby. I left that lobby and re-enabled cross platform. that solved the freezing.

This is happening to me on Hazard Zone, too.

I tried deleting the cache folder, validated file installation, and rebooted the system, but none worked.

Rebooted 3 times, still hanging on Renewal…

I must day, EA dumbing-down these forums is the final nail in the coffin, ffs. 

Is Crayola now a major sponsor?

How much money have you saved moving everything to this POS server?

And you expect people to pre-order? 😂

Renewal is broken for me as of tonight…you don’t have many maps to delete from the roster!

BTW, who “redesigned” these forums? An 8 year old? 

Hazard Zone needs a fix, if anyone is at all bothered 🤦‍♂️

This is happening to me on Hazard Zone, which is a shame because it’s the only mode on 2042 that I enjoy. As you said, the issue comes and goes, but certainly happens more often than not

The issue started happening to me again yesterday. This time on Manifest. Same issue as before, it gets stuck on loading screen and there's no way to leave but ALT+F4.

Its been a lot better recently. I haven't ran into this issue for a couple weeks now.
