3 years ago@JRizzo67 if you have not done this already, can you check if your monitor has a recent firmware update and see if updating to that one changes anything in-game?
I was speaking to another user with the same monitor (Alienware OLED AW3423DWF) where they had similar overexposed image and they reported that the latest firmware of the monitor fixed the problem. So I am curious if that is the case for others too.
- 3 years ago@BattlefieldDICEr Hey guys I will check but I think this may be more then just battlefield. I have found a work around via a reddit chain. It's pretty much turning off HDR in windows starting the game then using key functions to turn back on and it fixes it. Some people are saying it's also in Jedi - https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield2042/comments/12yvkag/update_420_hdr_stopped_working_pc/jhwg6wg?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

There is no fix on that thread.
- 3 years ago@BattlefieldDICEr The firmware does not resolve the issue with BF2042.. it is a BF2042 issue after the patch. However, there is a 1.04 firmware coming out for the monitor at the end of the month (see subreddit for ultrawide monitors)
