Hello, wondering why my created servers have a 180+ ping? It's almost as if the server is being created on a server in another country? US here. My profile location is correct. I don't see anywhere to select region in the game itself or in the server creation phases. Anyone have any ideas why this is?
Trying to create a server in Australia is pointless, literally every one I've tried when I actually get to make it has 180 ping.
I live in Asia managed to create a 40ping server once. Every other times are over 170.
Midwest US here. When hosting Portal matches, best ping I get is 180

Hi all! I have the same issue but I noticed that ping was High on "customized" game mode wtih a lot of IA. If you turn off AIs your ping should be ok. Not the best solution though.
Same here, I live in the EU and my minimum ping is about 170.
It really sucks playing with this ping when hosting!!
