So at least they are aware of the hit reg/TTK/TTD issues. Something is going on.
It feels like it is related to Crossplay/Aim Assist related. There is extra math to do related to aim assist that must be messing with the net code.
"when an EA Creator mentions it, they respond"
Yeah, funny how that works huh?
Whatever the "issue" is, I really hope they get a handle on it pretty soon.
It has been wonky for quite a while but the 3.1 patch seems to have made it so much worse.

If you do too good one round they will nerf you the next round to make it a fair playing experience.

Oh? I must have missed that in the patch notes, thanks for clearing that up, lol.
Seriously though nothing would surprise me at this point.
- 3 years ago@Ironhead841 I would bet some of it can be attributed to high ping players. We had less server locations with BFV and I bet we might have even less with this one at this stage of the game. Probably playing with players from a far away land that get the benefit of higher ping. Of course we clear that up if they just simply listed everyone's latency.

Since the 3.1 patch I have had to bail out of so many rounds.
I refuse to endure the misery of playing through full matches when it is nigh on impossible to kill anyone, I have to quit and search for a server that's playable.
This has become a real game breaker and DICE need to fix this asap as players will not hang around while this happening, it is killing the fun factor.

Yep I have started bailing on matches a lot too, it gets to be too much after a while.
It's like rolling the dice though, and if I feel like I have to do it more than a couple of times just trying to get a decent connection than I'll usually just say screw it and go do something else.
The fact they we're forced into this completely craptastic random matchmaking and have no control over where we play ping-wise just adds to the frustration.
And forget about actually getting to CHOOSE which map you want to play or not play.

Exactly how I feel too, life is too short to waste it jumping in and out of lobbies trying to get a playable server.
This should not be happening in a BF game in 2022.

The TTK seems to have increased exponentially by comparison to pre-patch values. It's damned near immediate now and that's not really enjoyable at all. Lots of one frame deaths, getting shot through impenetrable objects, around corners, and all that stuff which looks super sketchy. Not to say that the number of players who likely are sketchy seems to have increased as well since their free play period, but that's a discussion for another thread. I'm also tired of getting straight BEAMED by console players spamming DMRs with laser like precision at rates which seem to be near fully automatic fire whereas I, on PC, get no such luck and there's literally no way to fire that fast or that accurately.
It's not all that enjoyable now and if I wanted CoD... I'd play CoD. Seriously. I've got 550 hours into the game at this point and if it weren't for the season and being a completionist, I'd be giving this a rest.

After really struggling to find a decent AOW 128 match yesterday where I could actually kill people, I played 3 or 4 rounds of the 64 player Exodus playlist.
The difference was literally day and night, I honestly couldn't believe it.
It felt like I was playing against bots it was so easy to kill in comparison to my earlier 128 player rounds.
My ping was the same in all 128 / 64 player matches between 20 - 25.
It may or may not be relevant that the maps I played on where, Caspian, Noshahr and Valparaiso, rather than the 64 player versions of the new maps.
So why was this happening, was I just lucky. ? I don't remember the hit detection being this good on the Exodus maps prior to the last patch.
I will certainly be testing this again today to see if I get similar results.
I would be interested to hear your experience if you guys could play a round of Exodus.
