How do you turn off chat window on XBox?

I would like to turn off the chat on the interface on console. How do I do that?

    @killCAMPERSyou do you missing the point see the wording EDIT CONTROLLER MAPPINGS click on that word !!!

    that menu is for default !!! you need to click on the bar with EDIT CONTROLLER MAPPINGS

@OskooI_007Unfortunately, the Controller Mapping settings are not available on XBox Series S version.

    @killCAMPERS Instead goto the tab at top "EDIT CONTROLLER MAPPINGS", click on that ! gives yous the key bindings for Common, on foot, gunner, vehicle driver, transport driver, pilot. instead of the "controls" not sure if this will help your problem tho, i have made a new profile on my elite v2 controller for bf2042 to fly with works spot on.

      @WR4ITH66 As you can see from my screenshot, I do not have access to Controller Mapping. I looked all around the menus for this and I could not find it. Why the PS and XBox have different menus is baffling.
