i cant preload battle field 2042 on steam

i have been trying for hours too preload this game on steam... i just bought the game a hour ago (the gold version) and it doesn't let me preload it anywhere. on steam it just tells me (coming 19 n...

    This is what I did to resolve my issue. 
    Link steam account --> Origin account
    Exit / close both desktop apps.
    Relaunch both steam and Origin apps
    Using the origin application navigate over to the left sidebar and click on browse games --> Battlefield ->BF2042 -> View in library ->Download.

Do you have ea play through steam or origin? steam doesnt have bf2042 as well as many other games... only way is to get ea play through origin not steam
