I have purchased Battlefield 2042 PS5 Standard edition Physical copy.

I have purchased Battlefield 2042 PS5 Standard edition Physical copy. But not able to play the game. Whenever i insert the CD to play it directs me to Playstation Play subscription. My question can't...

@i96rlejmt3yz The disc is to install the game itself whereas the subscription would let you play online. Just in case you don't want to buy the subscription, it could be worth checking the retailers return policy.

@ElliotLH@. Ok Thank you. But as per the return policy it cannot be returned. But as you mentioned i can buy the subscription to play the game, am i right?

    @i96rlejmt3yz That should be the case, same as I need to pay for Xbox Live to play online. Since I'm not a PlayStation user though I'm a little hazy on the different subscriptions Sony have.
