I have purchased Battlefield 2042 PS5 Standard edition Physical copy.

I have purchased Battlefield 2042 PS5 Standard edition Physical copy. But not able to play the game. Whenever i insert the CD to play it directs me to Playstation Play subscription. My question can't...

Hey @i96rlejmt3yz,

It's indeed correct what @ElliotLH mentions. Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox both have subscriptions that you need to purchase in order to play online multiplayer games (except for F2P games). Unfortunately this is not something that comes from us, but this is a Sony and Microsoft policy.

Do you currently have a PS+ membership?

    @EA_Leeuw , No i do not have a PS+ membership yet. So this means i have to purchase the membership to play the Battlefield 2042 game, is that right?

      @i96rlejmt3yz, yes, I am afraid that's indeed the case. PlayStation sadly won't allow you to make use of Multiplayer features if you don't own PS+.
