Getting the same issue. Since the latest patch I'm booted back to the main menu mid-battle without fail. Before you ask, yes I've tried your connectivity guide. I play many games online and at present BF2042 is the only game I'm having issues with. An online only multiplayer game without viable online multiplayer is not a game - its a waste of my time and money.
WOW! I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ACTUALLY PLAY WITHOUT GETTING BOOTED! All i seemingly had to do was enable my VPN once i'd connected to the game. Hope this helps someone else that is as frustrated as i was 🙂
I've been getting the same issue for a while now, it's much more common after the season 2 patch.
It starts with everybody lagging out so if a guy was running toward the edge of a roof he will just keep running in the sky. It will boot me back to the menu while showing my internet connection on my computer is lost. If i have youtube or twitch running at the same time, i have no issues with connection. it's a BF only thing.
I was just in a match with one of my kids and it happened, his computer was fine and no disconnect. We're connected to the same router so it's a local game issue for sure.
