I have used the same headset on the Xbox Series X version and on the Xbox One version and the sound is way better on the Xbox one version. Absolute night and day difference, it's so clear on Xbox One where audio on Series X is muffled or under water or something.
This was a well known issue across the beta on Series X, easy fix was to put it on Night mode for what ever reason, and it made the sound much better, but now will full release, all modes sound terrible.
Did you ever find the solution to this problem.because I have the same issue still.
