Increasing RAM usage after every game

This is happening to me every time I start BF2042. First game RAM usage is at 7-8GB. Second game 8-10GB. Third game 10-12GB. Fourth game 12-16GB. Anything after the fourth game is 16GB which is max for my system. FPS drops drastically once at 16GB which isn’t surprising. Only thing that works in reloading BF2042 and same thing happens after game four. Why is this? Anyone having the same issue? Any workarounds for this?

  • @pillow4444 It's a memory leak and I hope it will be patched on the 19th, otherwise there will be no joy for a lot of people. The only thing you can do is try to tab out of the game between rounds and see if that dumps the ram block, or like you said, restart the game. There are other methods to clear the ram space, but I won't post them here.

I came here to complain also.  This started for me when the Liquidators event happened.  It has crashed my whole PC soo many times and it went BSOD 3 times now and i have completely reinstalled windows 3 times.  I don't notice allot of memory being used except for the cache and have even tried using ISLC and it still BSOD.  If it is jumping up memory use right before a crash i haven't been able to see but its usually around 20%.  I even thought i had the final fix today when i realized the new NVidia Dx12 came out the same time as the Liquidators update but i haven't done a DDU i just reinstalled it clean on a new windows 10 install and it still froze.  I tried the user.cfg also.
