Infinite Loop on Startup & Trouble Adding Cross-Platform Friend

Does your friend play on PS5. PC players can only play with PS5 players.

**bleep**, it would make total sense if that were the case, but he plays on PS5 :(

I'm currently having the same issue, and I am PC Battlefield 2042.

Mine doesn’t even get to that error. It just stays in a loop.

Have you tried moving the Battlefield 2042 folder out of Documents. It stores all your in-game settings. Moving the folder out of documents will reset game settings to default.

Let me tell all of you, etc... Dump cable if in the USofA, and get Ezee Fiber, then you will love gaming again, even though we are forced to play crap, wait way too long, and most times get kicked for waiting too long to join any server, and we don't appear to even get a choice whether to play 64 or 128 servers now, let alone with our own. Why not just keep the 128 as it was, and play garbage maps for the 64 player games? I mean why has no one expressed this in your personal circle EA? As a woman, age 60 still loving "FPS" games, etc, started with Novalogic Game Inc. back in the day, then here... well "WTF" do you think we are stupid? You should never ever cave to Gov **bleep**, PERIOD!  Fight them in court on behalf of those that game for your image, good or ... ? 

I hope that me just being frustrated with the way BF2042 was trashed, and I still want to play it and it's now worse than ever? I hope I am not banned again from posting, because I only really post when I am totally just done... pissed off, what ever... I am just me... God forbid people can even talk, or ask ?'s now... WTH is wrong with this world.
