Input/output stutter from usb devices
Constant stutter of input/output from mouse/keyboard/sound
I am having an issue of constant stuttering, 1-10 per minute, where input/output from headset/keyboard/mouse is frozen for 0,5. to 1.0 seconds. It is then accelerated to where the mouse/sound/keyboard input would have been if I pressed it during the stutter. The game/computer does not freeze during the stutter, only input/output from USB devices.
During these stutters, discord seems to change my input/output devices, which makes me think this is a W11 issue.
The only things installed are the GPU drivers, EA (the beta version), and BF2042.
I haven't found anyone describing a similar issue with stutter from USB devices, so lets see if anyone have a similar issue.
So far I've tried:
- Power options "performance"
- Gaming mode "on"
- Re-installing W11
- Ensured all updates are installed for W11.
Ill try these later, and report back:
- Disable Origin Overlay
- Remove all Nvidia Drivers, then install the Nvidia Studio Driver version.
- One person has suggested
"Input related issues like stuttering: (Remove igo64.dll)
-Ensure Origin is closed.
-Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin
-Delete the igo64.dll
-Then load the game to test.
Specs:
- Windows 11

I’ve found the root cause, its the motherboard. A known and common issue with it, causing stuttering. Fixet it by disabling all usbs, restart, then enabling them again. No stuttering for 5 minutes of gameplay
