Hi EA Team,after nearly playing 1 year without any issues I have problems since about 3 weeks. I start the game, join a server, play, and in 2 of 3 rounds suddenly the other players start to run in the sky or through any obstacle...then it needs another 5 seconds and I'm cicked from the server back to the menu. I only had once a error message telling me something about a timeout. In the other cases no error message at all. I already checked the connectivity guide, reseted my router, set up a complete new windows system... please help me...Best regards,Hanelore

Have you tried a game repair/file verification.In Origin in game library right click BF2042 and select repair from menu and let it run.In Steam select game library and right click BF2042 and select verify game files and let it run.Hopefully this will fix it.

I have done this before I reseted my whole system and it didn't fix it. Now I repaired it again in the EA App and I will give feedback if the problem is solved.Best regards and thanks for the help.,Hanelore

@Hanelores84 What you describe looks like you loose the connection to the server. What you see is soldiers that keep moving in the last know direction, until the point where the client notices that your connection is down.Do you have someone elso in your household (someone that uses the same router to access the internet) that plays BF2042 while you do?

@kregora: Yes, what you describe seems do be exactly my problem.To your questions, of coure my wife is streamng while I'm playing, but we have 100mbps download and 10mbps Upload speed... I guess the download/upload rates shouldn't be a problem and have it has never been a problem the whole year before. I also performed serveral speedtests to see if there is something wrong with the performance of my connection, but the rates seem to be pretty steady.And there is no one else connected to my Router who is playing BF or any other EA game.There is one thing mentioned in the connectivity guides which I couldn't do. It is the stuff about giving ports free on my router. My router is provided by may internet provider and it does not allow me to do this. Could this cause these problemes? And if yes, why did it work the whole year before.Anyway I will now have a try and hope that repairing the game maybe fixed the problem. I'll give feedback.

Have you tried a game repair/file verification.

@Hanelores84 I had some issues with a ISP that does IP based traffic shaping. I could solve the issue by using a VPN. Maybe that would be an option for you.
For me BF2042 game servers usually run in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. So I setup my VPN to a Frankfurt server. This would also address potential issues with multiple clients playing the same game.

100mb download and 10mb upload Streamiing is eating all the upload and will make an bad connection! (same when download is to low) To much followers during stream and gaming will dry up the upload from 10mb very easy ! Cheers

@kregora Thank for the tipps I Tryied some stuff meanwhile. First thing, I dissabled the overlays of Geforce experience and the EA app and had one full evening without kicks from the Server. Today the issue is back in its best. I'm kicked everytime after 2-3 Minutes. Also the VPN Client didn't change anything. It's always the same...
Is someone else having this issue?
