Lock On sound effect broken?
Title. When I've been using either the Javelin, FXM-33 or the SOFLAM, I haven't been getting the lock on sound effect you'd normally get. No idea if it's just a me thing or if it's a wider bug. Thin...

I play on PC. Through Steam specifically. I tried verifying the integrity of the game files and the problem still persists.
Lock on sound effect is still broken even after verifying the game files on Steam numerous times.
Welp I tried a full reinstall and that didn't fix the problem either.

Hi @Zaydin Thanks for the update, when you have a moment can we try the following?
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for BF2042 (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
- Steam - Verify in your library

@EA_Illium jep stinger has no lock on sound !
Sometime even when flares are done from enemy chopper, stinger doesnt hit chopper/jet !PC
- @EA_Illium Can you guys fix your broken game? Maybe finally after a year? How can the helis now dodge lock ons? I mean it never ends.
