Lock On sound effect broken?

Title. When I've been using either the Javelin, FXM-33 or the SOFLAM, I haven't been getting the lock on sound effect you'd normally get. No idea if it's just a me thing or if it's a wider bug. Thin...

I play on PC. Through Steam specifically. I tried verifying the integrity of the game files and the problem still persists.

Lock on sound effect is still broken even after verifying the game files on Steam numerous times.

    Welp I tried a full reinstall and that didn't fix the problem either.
