locked in place while getting shot at

Xbox Series S - Cant move when being shot at.

When i get shot at and they are hitting more than 2 bullets, i cant seem to move forward, backward, left or right and cant go prone. all i can do is jump and fire back.

It feels like im getting locked in place when this happens and has gotten me killed a few times as could nt get myself behind cover right by me.

It doesnt make a difference if its a pc or console player shooting at me.
