Also having this problem, it's been around since the beta and it's driving me nuts, because it's not just a few seconds, it'll go for 10 to 20 seconds minimum every single time. Nothing affects it, such as dying, it'll just lock up the controls with whatever was going on last and then randomly give it back. It's incredibly frustrating, because it's guaranteed to happen a few times every gameplay session.
Would be good to here from EA to let us know whether there is a fix coming for this cause its just a joke now
