I have this same problem. I play on PC with a Razer mouse and Logitech G13 gamepad. Both these devices use software to control them and to assign profiles and it has always worked in other games and in past BF games no problem. My PC is no slouch - I have an RTX 3080 Ti and an Intel i9-9900K cpu with 32 GB of RAM. For me it happens every few minutes and always in threes: lose control for 2 seconds, then fine for a second, then the same thing over again twice right away. After that, it's fine again for a few minutes and does it in threes again.
In the past I remember having issues like this because I had Google Backup running in the background and when I paused it this issue went away. However that doesn't work for this game - I completely turned off my Google Drive program from running anymore and it didn't make any difference. I tried turning off all unnecessary background apps and still have the issue (even turned off Shadowplay, Discord, etc.). The only two things I have running are the Logitech Gaming software and the Razer Synapse software so that my mouse and G13 gamepad will work.
Tonight, I will try turning off RAW mouse input like is suggested in the other thread referenced above.
It's definitely frustrating because I die almost every time this happens because I lose all control and usually run out into the open or somewhere else I should not be. :-)
I hope this gets figured out soon, and thanks for submitting this initially.
Just an update: I tried disabling RAW mouse input and it didn't seem to make a difference. I'm not sure if it's because it's not really off, or because it doesn't matter. Every time I turned it off, it came back on so I don't really know if it's off or not. Yes, I even set it to off in the config file first, but it didn't matter - it still kept coming back on.
One other thing - I closed the Razer software and that also didn't make a difference. So, the only software I was running during gameplay was the Logitech Gaming Software. Otherwise there were no background apps running.
