Loss of control and floating crosshair

So many times I get the issue where I lose control of certain buttons. Mostly it's been the spacebar to jump and it's so annoying. Also had cases of losing all vertical control and having the crosshair just float around the screen.

In general I notice many many input issues where the game just doesn't want to register keystrokes.
