Low CPU usage BF2042

    That was indeed the case for a workaround with previous patches.

    Also think even though your Alder Lake CPU is listed as a 12 core... it has 8 performance cores with HyperThreading and 4 Efficient cores, so if you modd the cfg, I would only pick 6-7 cores maximum.

    Why not up to Medium detail level ? The performance impact should be minimal on your setup.

Thanks Carbonic. So I probably don’t need to run the User.cfg file to unlock all cores?

the internet seems to think this is the holy grail of increasing performance. I didn’t really notice any difference when applying this optimisation. I seem to get a smooth gameplay experience and average around 150 FPS on low settings.
