Low FPS Issue
I can't get more that 50 FPS on low settings everywhere: System Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Desktop Motherboard: MSI Z270 KRAIT GAMING (MS-7A59) CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz RAM: 32...
@EA_Atic I haven't checked the CPU in the last day, but I have been able to get up to 68 FPS in some places on a map. Typically places where there is a very low player count.
See image attached.
The CPU as shown in that image is at 80% and GPU 97%. In more heavily populated parts of the game, the FPS is about 40 to 50. Just shows how badly optimised the game is.
One thing that should be noted though is my PROFSAVE_profile (attached) DX 12 is showing as turned off:
GstRender.Dx12Enabled 0
Now of course I have DX12 on my system. There is also no where to enable this in 2042 game settings. BF2042 requires DX12 to run. Why then is it showing as disabled in the file?
There is more to this.
@FarbodGreen has stated he gets a significant FPS boost with setting GstRender.Dx12Enabled to 1 (enabled) in the PROFSAVE_profile. His FPS changes from 30-40FPS to 95-110FPS when setting GstRender.Dx12Enabled from 0 to 1 in the file. Also, changing it back to 0, returns the FPS to 30-40FPS. Obviously a problem.
Also I haven't tried the new NVIDI driver, but will do over the weekend. But from reports, I'm not expecting any significant improvements. There are more fundamental issues happening in the game that are affecting FPS like the DX12 issue above.

@FlatChat just a quick correction to clarify my experience. the 30-40fps was back when I used 16gb single channel RAM without DX12 enabled.
32gb dual channel RAM without DX12 was around 60-70fps.
32gb dual channel RAM with DX12 enable, around 90-120fps
Thank you for updating.
